On 12th December, Fernando Pessoa University will hold two sessions of the \"Seminars on Molecules, Cells and Disease\" series at the UFP's School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. These sessions are part of the \"Molecules, Cells and Disease III (MCD III)\" module within the Integrated Master's Degree in Medicine study programme.
These sessions are open to the academic community, including students, faculty, and researchers.<\/p>
Seminar I \u2013 9:00 AM<\/strong>
\u201cBiologic Determinants on the Onset of Cerebrocardiovascular Disease: From the Pregenomic to the Genomic Era\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>This seminar will be led by Professor Manuel Diamantino Bicho, who will address the evolution of biological determinants associated with the onset of cerebro-cardiovascular diseases, from the pre-genomic phase to current genomic approaches.<\/p>

\u201cEmergent and Reemergent Infectious Diseases: Clinical Cases on Sexually Transmitted Infections\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>This session will be dedicated to emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases, with a focus on clinical cases within the scope of sexually transmitted infections, and will be presented by Prof. Dr. Maria Clara Bicho.<\/p>
