As part of this visit, a workshop entitled \"AI Forecasting Methods for Energy Management Systems\" will take place on the 17th of April.<\/p><p>In the context of urban development, smart cities leverage technology and data-driven solutions to address various challenges and enhance the quality of life for their residents. Integrating the concept of a smart building with the vision of a smart factory and smart grid technologies within smart city initiatives brings several tangible benefits. Firstly, it promotes energy efficiency by optimising consumption and reducing waste through real-time monitoring, energy analytics, and demand-side management strategies. Secondly, smart grids contribute to urban sustainability goals by enabling the integration of renewable energy sources and supporting clean transportation options, such as electric vehicles.
