The Fernando Pessoa University, together with the Centre for Research in Justice and Governance (JusGov) of the University of Minho, is organising the IV Webinar on Political and Humanitarian Studies Research.<\/p>

The event, co-organised by UFP and JusGov, which will take place on 11 June in the Fernando Pessoa Noble Hall, will be developed within the scope of the theme of Justice, Governance and Social Transformation: legal, institutional and social challenges.\u00a0<\/p>

This webinar proposes an interdisciplinary and critical reflection on the contemporary challenges faced by societies at the intersection of justice, governance, and social transformation, addressing legal, institutional, and social dimensions in an integrated manner. The programme combines theoretical and empirical perspectives, articulating analyses in the fields of global governance, international law, diplomacy, international security, technological innovation, democracy, citizenship, human rights and the protection of vulnerable groups.<\/p>

The initiative is organised into five thematic panels, designed to ensure an analytical progression from the general to the specific, linking global reflections with institutional experiences and concrete social and legal challenges. Each panel functions as a space for reflection and the presentation of contemporary issues, innovative research, case studies, and critical debates, fostering knowledge sharing among senior researchers, and also including the participation of doctoral students on the 3rd cycle in Political and Humanitarian Studies, who will present an initial state of development for their doctoral thesis topics.<\/p>

The IV Webinar on Political and Humanitarian Studies Research will take place in a hybrid format. Interested parties can participate online, via a link they will receive upon registration, or in person at the FP's Noble Hall. Registration is free of charge and mandatory. A certificate of participation may be requested at the time of registration for a fee of \u20ac5.<\/p>
