{"id":1061326,"date":"2026-06-25T09:56:28","date_gmt":"2026-06-25T09:56:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ufp.pt\/?p=1061326"},"modified":"2026-06-30T08:24:09","modified_gmt":"2026-06-30T08:24:09","slug":"ufp-at-the-iberian-congress-of-criminology","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ufp.pt\/en\/ufp-no-i-congresso-iberico-de-criminologia\/","title":{"rendered":"International Cooperation: UFP at the I Iberian Congress of Criminology"},"content":{"rendered":"<div data-elementor-type=\"wp-post\" data-elementor-id=\"1061326\" class=\"elementor elementor-1061326\" data-elementor-post-type=\"post\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b37bafd e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"b37bafd\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-bbbf4ad elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"bbbf4ad\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Fernando Pessoa University had an institutional presence at the 1st Iberian Congress of Criminology (and 15th Spanish Congress), which took place between 10th and 12th June 2026, at the Faculty of Law of the University of A Coru\u00f1a, in Spain.<\/p><p>Under the theme \u201cShared Horizons in Criminology,\u201d the event brought together professionals, researchers, academics, and students from both countries with the strategic objective of building bridges and facilitating investigative cooperation between Portugal and Spain.<\/p><p>The UFP was one of 13 Portuguese organisations that collaborated in organising this scientific milestone \u2013 promoted by the Spanish Society of Criminological Research and the ECRIM Research Group of the University of A Coru\u00f1a. The event was attended by the institution's lecturers and researchers: Ana Sani (member of the event's Scientific Committee), Ana M. Sacau Fontenla, Gloria Jolluskin and L\u00edgia Afonso.<\/p><p>The congress concluded on 12 June with a meeting between representatives of Portuguese institutions to review the event and plan for future meetings in other locations.<\/p><p>The 1st Iberian Congress of Criminology was an excellent meeting for multidisciplinary professionals and was of enormous relevance to researchers in the fields of Criminology and Justice Psychology at UFP.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Universidade Fernando Pessoa marcou presen\u00e7a institucional no I Congresso Ib\u00e9rico de Criminologia (e XV Congresso Espanhol), que decorreu entre os dias 10 e 12 de junho de 2026, na Faculdade de Direito da Universidade da Corunha, em Espanha.
