The EMBRACE Project is currently recruiting volunteers to participate in a study aiming to prevent and\/or delay age-related cognitive decline in older adults at risk of developing dementia. Individuals aged between 60 and 80 years old, who are interested in taking part in a programme that includes cognitive stimulation, financial and digital literacy, physical activity, and nutritional advice, are invited to apply.<\/p>

The participation will take place at the facilities of the Fernando Pessoa University (UFP), during two mornings or two afternoons per week, depending on the availability and preference of each participant.<\/p>

The EMBRACE Project, developed by a multidisciplinary team of lecturers and researchers from the Fernando Pessoa University (UFP) and the Fernando Pessoa School of Health (ESS-FP), under the leadership of Professor Carina Fernandes, aims to promote healthy ageing through a multidisciplinary and non-pharmacological intervention, contributing to the preservation of cognitive health, functionality, and the quality of life of the elderly population.<\/p>

It is a project financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the Operational Programme for Competitiveness and Internationalisation \u2013 COMPETE 2030 and by the Fernando Pessoa Teaching and Culture Foundation.<\/p>
