Information from the Portuguese Professional Order of Dentists on the automatic recognition of professional qualifications in the European Union (PDF).
The training provided at the University and at the Hospital by a teaching staff of national and international reference allows us to prepare professionals who can easily insert themselves in the labor market and achieve outstanding positions in the best post-graduate courses in Portugal and abroad.
The training of dentists in the European Union complies with the respective standards of Directive No. 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 7 September 2005, as changed by Directive No. 2013/55/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 November 2013, of which the full time, in-person training in dentistry is mandatory.

* The successful completion of all curricular units and the approval at 300 ECTS confers a Master’s degree. The Licenciado (BSc) degree in Dental Sciences is awarded after 6 semesters and approval at 180 ECTS credits.
