Arquitetura em Foco na Semana da FCT
A Faculdade de Ciência e Tecnologia da Universidade Fernando Pessoa dinamiza, nos dias 8 e 9 de abril, um conjunto de sessões dedicadas à Arquitetura, integradas na programação da Semana da FCT. As atividades contam com a participação de arquitetos portugueses e internacionais, que irão partilhar projetos de referência e refletir sobre temas atuais como a impressão 3D com materiais naturais, a reabilitação urbana e o planeamento das cidades no século XX.
O programa tem início com a intervenção de Krystian Patyna, da Faculdade de Engenharia e Arquitetura da Universidade de Tecnologia de Lublin (Polónia), que apresentará uma conferência sobre técnicas inovadoras de impressão 3D com materiais como argila, terra e compostos biológicos, explorando abordagens sustentáveis e tecnologicamente avançadas aplicadas à construção.
Segue-se a participação dos arquitetos Romeu Ribeiro e José Pedro Marques, do atelier REM’A Arquitetos, que irão partilhar uma seleção de projetos que refletem a identidade do gabinete e a sua abordagem contemporânea à arquitetura.
No segundo dia, o atelier Mutante Arquitetos dará a conhecer alguns dos seus projetos mais emblemáticos, com especial enfoque na reabilitação urbana e na valorização do território. A encerrar o ciclo de apresentações, Wojciech Jabłoński, também da Universidade de Tecnologia de Lublin, abordará o tema da arquitetura e do planeamento urbano na Polónia ao longo do século XX, com uma perspetiva histórica e crítica sobre os principais momentos de transformação urbana no país.

On April 8 and 9, the Faculty of Science and Technology at Universidade Fernando Pessoa will host a series of sessions dedicated to Architecture, as part of the FCT Week programme. The event will feature both Portuguese and international architects, who will share reference projects and reflect on current topics such as 3D printing with natural materials, urban regeneration, and 20th-century urban planning.
The programme begins with a talk by Krystian Patyna, from the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture at Lublin University of Technology (Poland), who will present a session on innovative 3D printing techniques using materials such as clay, earth, and biobased compounds — exploring sustainable and technologically advanced approaches to construction.
This will be followed by Romeu Ribeiro and José Pedro Marques, from the architecture studio REM’A Arquitetos, who will share a selection of projects that reflect the studio’s identity and its contemporary architectural approach.
On the second day, Mutante Arquitetos will present some of their most emblematic projects, with a particular focus on urban rehabilitation and territorial enhancement. To close the cycle of presentations, Wojciech Jabłoński, also from Lublin University of Technology, will explore the topic of architecture and urban planning in Poland during the 20th century, offering a historical and critical perspective on key moments of urban transformation in the country.
