Nos últimos dias, devido ao aumento exponencial de utilizadores da RCTS – Rede Ciência, Tecnologia e Sociedade  (rede nacional de investigação e ensino), as redes de várias instituições de ensino superior, incluindo a da Universidade Fernando Pessoa, foram alvo de acessos indevidos/ maliciosos que provocaram quebras de funcionamento da nossa plataforma de e-learning (UFP-UV). Pelo facto, e embora sejamos alheios a esta situação, apresentamos as nossas desculpas, garantindo que todos os esforços estão a ser feitos para repor o normal funcionamento ainda durante o dia de hoje.

De forma a garantir a maior segurança possível da plataforma, informamos que a partir da próxima segunda-feira, dia 4 de Maio, o acesso à UFP-UV será feito exclusivamente via VPN (Virtual Private Network). Lembramos que o software necessário para este acesso poderá ser descarregado em UFP OpenVPN – Windows  e UFP OpenVPN – MacOSx 

Qualquer questão relacionada com este assunto e pedidos de apoio técnico deverão ser enviados para helpdesk.sic[at]ufp.edu.pt.

Dear Students

In the last few days, due to the exponential increase in the number of users of RCTS – The Science, Technology and Society Network  (national research and education network), the networks of several higher education institutions, including that of University Fernando Pessoa , were the target of undue access / malicious attacks that caused our e-learning platform (UFP-UV) to malfunction. For that reason, and although we are oblivious to this situation, we offer our apologies, guaranteeing that every effort is being made to restore normal functioning today.

In order to ensure the highest possible security for the platform, we inform you that starting next Monday, May 4th, access to UFP-UV will be done exclusively via VPN (Virtual Private Network). We remind you that the necessary software for this access can be downloaded at UFP OpenVPN – Windows  and UFP OpenVPN – MacOSx .
