Short description: In this session, participants will explore the multiple challenges posed by climate change and their consequences on health and health responses. Topics of discussion will include identifying common risk types and analysing the effectiveness of national healthcare response mechanisms in addressing the various phases of disaster management, including prevention, mitigation, response, and recovery. Strategies for enhancing coordination, communication, and resource allocation will be explored, considering the diverse political, economic, social, technological, legal, and environmental contexts (PESTLE).

Furthermore, the session will explore innovative strategies for promoting resilience and sustainable development in affected communities, focusing on enhancing health, quality of life, and overall well-being.
