The dual degree program The programs in Nutritional Sciences and Pharmaceutical Sciences allow their graduates to register with their respective Professional Orders (Pharmacists and Nutritionists) since these study cycles are accredited by A3ES (Order No. 7192/2019, Official Gazette, 2nd Series, No. 154, of August 13 e R/A-Ef 2911/2011/AL03)
The Dual Degree in Nutritional Sciences and Pharmaceutical Sciences at Fernando Pessoa University allows students to obtain, over six academic years, a joint degree in Nutritional Sciences and a master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences. This integrated training program, a pioneer in Portugal, offers solid, transversal and complementary training in the areas of food, nutrition, medicine and public health.
With an optimized study plan and no duplication of curricular units, students benefit from a demanding and up-to-date education that combines scientific knowledge with professional practice through internships and laboratory activities. This dual qualification fosters a differentiated professional profile, with broad career opportunities in clinical, hospital, community, industrial, and research areas, allowing for more effective and integrated intervention in health promotion.

Graduates will be able to work in clinical and hospital settings, the food and pharmaceutical industries, public health organizations, research and teaching institutions, as well as in consulting, entrepreneurship and product development projects. ERASMUS+ EXCHANGE
Students at the Fernando Pessoa University (UFP) who meet the eligibility criteria have the opportunity to undertake periods of study and/or internships through international mobility programs.
International student study periods are carried out at higher education institutions outside of Portugal with which UFP maintains student exchange agreements under the Erasmus+ Program (within the European area), or other existing bilateral exchange agreements.
