The Master's degree in Computer Engineering aims to deepen technical and scientific skills in the field of information technologies, with particular emphasis on the application of artificial intelligence and machine learning, intelligent IoT systems, web systems and mobile applications, and cybersecurity. It intends to prepare professionals to develop applied and innovative IT solutions, suited to new technological challenges, based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).

• Web and mobile application development with AI/ML integration;
• Development and management of sensory and intelligent IoT systems;
• Technological consulting in intelligent, complex and secure systems;
• Analysis and design of distributed systems with microservices and intelligent agents;
• Planning complex systems in service, technology and innovation companies;
• Planning, management and documentation of research and development (R&D).

• Technical and applied training in the areas of artificial intelligence/machine learning, IoT, web and mobile applications, advanced distributed systems, and cybersecurity;
• Guidance towards combining multiple AI/ML technologies to solve real-world problems;
• Strong connection to the practices and technologies of the technology and business market;
• Integrating scientific methodology into solving real-world problems in collaboration with companies;
• Availability of scholarships from partner companies and funded R&D projects.

ERASMUS+ EXCHANGE

Students at the Fernando Pessoa University (UFP) who meet the eligibility criteria have the opportunity to undertake periods of study and/or internships through international mobility programs.
