Construction Management

POST-GRADUATE STUDIES

ABOUT THE COURSE

Context

The current revitalization of the construction sector justifies the relevance and usefulness of a Postgraduate Degree in Construction Management.

The Site Manager is one of the most classic and emblematic roles of an Engineer in the construction sector. They are a duly qualified technician, integrated into the technical staff of the construction company, responsible for ensuring the execution of the work. They report to the site supervisor, complying with the execution project and, where applicable, the conditions of the license or prior notification, respecting the legal and regulatory standards in force.

Currently, a Construction Manager is increasingly focused on optimizing the time and cost of a project, while remaining concentrated on its technical details.

The postgraduate course consists of 10 curricular units, covering the main aspects of Construction Management, namely the initial preparation of the work, the management of productive resources, the control of costs, deadlines and quality, as well as the management of the environment and occupational health and safety.

This postgraduate program is designed for engineers, technical engineers, architects, and other professionals with an interest in and knowledge of the construction sector. Candidates who do not hold a university degree will receive a specialization diploma.
