On May 15th, between 9:00 AM and 10:15 AM, the open class “Together at the Swallowing Table: The Importance of Interdisciplinary Work” will take place as part of the Speech Therapy Degree program.
The objective of the class, which will be led by Professor Daniela Oliveira Vieira and students Leonor Garcia, Nádia Santos, and Tess Bensimhon, final-year students of the Speech Therapy course, is to raise awareness among different health professionals about the importance of interdisciplinary work in the assessment and intervention in the area of swallowing and its disorders.
