The Compor Mundos 2026/27 cycle, dedicated to the theme «Humanities and Health», begins with a conversation based on an excerpt from the film Pain and Glory, by Pedro Almodóvar. The session will take place on October 21st, from 11:00 to 12:30, in the Nobre Hall of Fernando Pessoa University, with free admission.
Animated by Professor and Doctor Luís Santos, This first meeting invites participants to reflect on human experience and health through cinema, opening up space for dialogue and the sharing of different perspectives.
Organized by the Compor Mundos Network, the cycle aims to bring the Humanities and Health closer together, promoting reflection on the contributions of this dialogue to understanding the person and caregiving.
The session is open to the academic community and all interested parties.
