UFP hosts the 4th International Congress of Political Science and International Relations

On April 20, 2026, the following will take place: IV International Congress of Political Science and International Relations – IV CICPRI 2026.

Held annually, the Congress alternates between "Political Science" and "International Relations." This year, the focus will be on "International Relations," more specifically "Geopolitics and the New World Order.".

Despite the broad scope of areas covered by the theme addressed in this edition, the following stand out: International Relations, Political Science, International Organizations, Jus ad bellum, Jus in bello, Human Rights, Migration, Democracy, Public Policies, Political Economy, Portuguese, European and International Law, Environmental Law, National and International Crime, and Business Sciences.

The 4th CICPRI 2026 presents a global overview of contemporary international geopolitics, exploring the main ongoing conflicts, the most important strategic alliances, the role of major powers, as well as the impact of climate change and the energy transition. It will also address topics such as the nuclear arms race, cybersecurity, the global economy, regional dynamics, and the trends that will shape the future of the international order.
