The Fernando Pessoa Foundation made the handover of goods collected as part of the FFP Solidarity Christmas campaign to the supported institutions: the Campanhã Youth Centre and the Legion of Good Will.
At the Campanhã Youth Centre, the delegation was welcomed by its Director, Dr. Carla Pereira, in a moment that allowed them to gain a deeper understanding of the work carried out with institutionalised young people. The Fernando Pessoa Academic Association was represented on this visit, which also facilitated a reflection on potential future forms of support that the Academic Association could provide to these young people.
At the Legion of Good Will, the Fernando Pessoa Foundation was warmly welcomed by D. Arlete Paiva, who expressed, once again, her profound gratitude for the support the institution has been providing over the years, particularly through the donation of goods. This is support with a very concrete impact on the lives of the people supported by this entity.
The Fernando Pessoa Foundation would like to express its very special thanks to the entire academic community that contributed to this charitable campaign. Everyone's contribution will help bring more comfort and joy to many people this Christmas season.
This action is a cause of pride for Fernando Pessoa, reflecting the spirit of solidarity and the strong sense of social responsibility that characterise its academic community.
