On April 8th, between 10:30 AM and 1:00 PM, the Noble Hall of the Fernando Pessoa will host the Forum “La mirada presidente del Mercosur en la actual conjuntura mundial” (The Presidential Perspective of Mercosur in the Current World Context), organized by NELA – Núcleo de Estudos Latino-Americano (Center for Latin American Studies), whose director is Professor Ana Maria Toscano.

This event will incorporate two activities – an online conference with Dr. Jorge Fernandez Reyes – President of the Supreme Court of Mercosur, and the presentation of the book “Las Mujeres and the institutionality of Mercosur“", authored by Dr. Liliana Bertoni, President of ADEI – Association of Integration Studies, and will also feature the presence of Professor Ana Maria Toscano.

The objective of this initiative and the participation of the aforementioned guests is to discuss the new vision of Mercosur. Through the online conference and the presentation of the book (which reflects new theoretical contributions and current methodologies), students will have the opportunity to develop their knowledge in this area and will be able to learn more about ADEI, since Dr. Liliana Bertoni will also give a brief overview of the institution's objectives.

The event addresses a topic of great interest to students of Political Science and International Relations, but is open to the entire UFP community given its relevance.
