The School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at Fernando Pessoa University (UFP), in close collaboration with the Fernando Pessoa Teaching Hospital – Trofa Saúde Group (HEFP/GTS), welcomed a new group of students from Nova Southeastern University (NSU), Florida, who will be undertaking clinical rotations at the hospital.
This initiative takes place within the framework of the cooperation protocols established between UFP and NSU, as well as the partnership with HEFP/GTS, constituting a concrete example of Fernando Pessoa's commitment to internationalization and training in real-world contexts.
By joining clinical teams and having direct contact with hospital practice, these students have the opportunity to develop fundamental technical and human skills, while benefiting from a highly qualified academic and clinical environment. Simultaneously, this experience promotes knowledge sharing and interaction between different cultures and health systems, contributing to a more comprehensive and integrated view of medicine.
With this initiative, Fernando Pessoa reinforces its position as a leading institution in health education, combining academic excellence with a strong practical component and a growing international presence.
