On April 9th, the School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (EMCB) of the Fernando Pessoa University received a visit from the President and Vice-President of the National Association of Medical Students (ANEM), Maria Fontão and Marta Duarte. The delegation was welcomed by the Medical Students' Association of EMCB and the School's Executive Coordination, and was also received in a meeting by the EMCB Directorate.
The visit program included an institutional presentation, a guided tour of the School's facilities, and a visit to the Fernando Pessoa Teaching Hospital/Trofa Saúde Group, allowing for an understanding of the different contexts of practical training for medical students. As a symbolic gesture, a copy of the book "Clinical Neurology," authored by Professor Maria José Sá, a lecturer in the Integrated Master's Program in Medicine at the Fernando Pessoa University, was presented.
This initiative strengthens cooperation between EMCB and ANEM, promoting institutional dialogue and the sharing of experiences in the field of medical training.
