On April 14th, the 4th-year students of the Integrated Master's in Pharmaceutical Sciences of FP, carried out a study visit to the company Solfarcos, in Braga.

The initiative, driven by Professor Ana Catarina Silva, within the scope of the “Pharmaceutical Biotechnology and Advanced Therapies” module, provided students with direct contact with the reality of the biotechnology industry, allowing them to deepen their knowledge of practical applications in this area. Focused on cosmetic and pharmaceutical applications, the Solfarcos dedicated to the development of innovative peptide-based solutions, with the aim of creating sustainable products that contribute to health, well-being, and beauty.

The experience proved to be extremely enriching, having been marked by the enthusiasm and active participation of the students. Fernando Pessoa University thanks the Solfarcos the availability to receive our students, and for being an ally of the institution in developing our students' skills.
