On the 11th of May, from 15:15 to 16:15, an open lecture titled “Protecting more affected populations during UN missions – Looking at SEA UN Programs” will be held, with Dr. András Hárs.
András Hárs is a professor at Ludovika University of Public Service, in Budapest, Hungary, with 10 years of experience teaching international law and related fields. Her research area includes sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA – sexual exploitation and abuse) in United Nations peacekeeping operations, international criminal law and artificial intelligence and international law – the first of which was the subject of his doctoral thesis, successfully defended in 2021.
Has extensive experience as a guest lecturer in over 20 countries, including Spain, the Netherlands, Italy, Kenya, Turkey, Cyprus, Ethiopia, Portugal, Egypt, Finland, India, China, Poland, Ecuador, South Africa, and Sudan, among others, having also actively participated as a speaker in numerous national and international conferences.
The initiative is aimed at Master's students in Humanitarian Action, Cooperation and Development and will take place in room E.C.1.9, in the ESS-FP Clinics Building.
