The Fernando Pessoa University was made aware of the incident reported by the Canvas platform through an official communication from Instructure, the entity responsible for the service.

In an initial phase, the platform informed some institutions of the existence of unauthorised activity, later confirming that, in the case of Fernando Pessoa University, no evidence of compromised credentials, unauthorised access to institutional accounts, or data extraction was identified.

The platform is currently operational and, to date, no relevant anomalies have been detected in its functioning within our institution.

The Fernando Pessoa University will continue to monitor the situation in conjunction with the platform's managers.
