As part of an academic competition, students on the Integrated Master's degree in Architecture at Fernando Pessoa have developed design projects for an exhibition stand for architectural works, an initiative carried out in collaboration with the companies Indelague e Julcar.

The activity arose following a visit to the development and production units of both companies, during which the students had the opportunity to observe the product creation process. The proposals developed integrated lighting solutions from the Indelague and furniture design elements Julcar.

The presentations took place on 13 May and included the participation of architect Gonçalo Novo, representing Indelague, and Sérgio Pinto, representing the Julcar, responsible for considering the proposals submitted.

At the end of the session, three awards were presented: the Indelague Prize to Daniela Cristina Pinto da Costa, a 2nd-year student; the Julcar Prize to Béatrice Raymond-Lebel, also a 2nd-year student; and the Professors' Prize to Amanda Scarlet Barros Chiriboga and Catarina de Sousa Marvão, 3rd-year students.

The initiative allowed students to get closer to the real context of design, development, and production, while at the same time strengthening the link between academia and the surrounding business community. The collaboration also opened up prospects for future partnerships in research and the creation of new products.

The works are on display in room 106, in the Headquarters Building, and can be visited until the end of June.
