Open lecture with the President of the Order of Technical Engineers held on July 18 at UFP
Upcoming open classes with guests: 23 and 24 JULY | 7pm-9pm

Last Saturday, the 18th of July, from 11 am to 1 pm, the 5th open lecture of the postgraduate seminar in Building Rehabilitation was held. The lecture was attended by the President of the Order of Technical Engineers, Technical Engineer José Manuel Sousa, and the topic “Resilience in Building Rehabilitation” was discussed.

The next open classes will take place on the following dates:

  • 6th Open Class (online): 23rd July, 7pm - 9pm, taught by Architect Paulo Valença, on “Affordable Housing Policies”;
  • 7th Open Lecture (Online): 24th July from 7 PM to 9 PM, on “Building Rehabilitation, Industrialisation, Modular Construction and Sustainability“, organised by Grupo Casais. The lecture will feature the following speakers: Engineer Fernando Almeida (Casais), from 7 PM to 7:45 PM, on Building Rehabilitation; Architect Maria Inês Graça and Engineer Rui Fernandes (Blufab from the Casais group), from 8 PM to 9 PM, on Industrialisation, Modular Construction and Sustainability. The IS Blufab project will be introduced, highlighting its innovative approach and contribution to the evolution of construction methodologies, and the CREE system will be presented, including its principles, advantages, and applications in construction and rehabilitation projects.
