Three applications from the Fernando Pessoa University (UFP) have been approved for the COST Actions – European Cooperation in Science and Technology, strengthening its presence in European scientific cooperation.
Among the approved applications stands out the participation of Professor Dr. Paula Mota Santos in the project “Terra Atomica – Exploring the Afterlives of Nuclear Landscapes in Europe”, an initiative dedicated to the transdisciplinary and patrimonial study of nuclear landscapes and memories in Europe.
In turn, Professor Dr. Christophe Soares is part of the “NextMCS-EduNet – Next-Generation Mathematics and Computer Science Education with Large Language Models” project, focused on the use of Large Language Models in the teaching of Mathematics and Computer Science, and the “HARPA – Human-centered Approaches to Responsible Privacy for and with AI”, dedicated to the development of human-centered approaches to privacy and responsibility in the Artificial Intelligence ecosystem.
Open to all scientific and technological fields, the COST Actions promote pan-European cooperation, allowing researchers with different backgrounds to expand their networks of collaboration and their scientific trajectory.
