Frequently asked questions
Brief answers for conscious use.
Can I use AI in an academic work?
It depends on the level authorized for this assessment element. Consult the syllabus and the question statement. If the rule is not clear, clarify the doubt with the teacher before submitting the assignment.
SEE THE FIVE LEVELS
Who is responsible for the generated content?
The responsibility lies with the person who uses and submits the content. Check the results, confirm the sources, and ensure that you understand and are able to substantiate the work. AI is not the author.
Do I have to declare the use of AI?
Declare the use in accordance with the terms applicable to your context. In the investigation, identify the tasks, the systems used, the original results, and the modifications. At levels 3 and 4 of evaluation, the declaration is expressly provided for.
Can I enter personal data into an AI tool?
The use of personal data and information subject to confidentiality requires specific conditions. Do not enter it into external systems not approved by the UFP. Please confirm the scope of the authorization in advance and, in case of doubt, consult the Data Protection Officer.
