On the next 13th of May, from 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM, the Biomedicine Days, an initiative of the Master's in Biomedicine at UFP and UTAD. They promote the sharing of scientific knowledge, clinical experiences, and technological innovation. A meeting space for students, researchers, and health professionals, which will take place at the Fernando Pessoa School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.
In 2026, the focus is on the concept of One Health (OneHealthThe link between human, animal, and environmental health is highlighted. Antibiotic resistance also emerges at this intersection as one of the greatest global challenges. From the laboratory to clinical practice, knowledge, technology, and research are united. Strategies for diagnosis, prevention, and control of infections will be explored. It is, therefore, an invitation to collaboration and to building solutions for the future of health.
The initiative is aimed at Master's students in Biomedicine and anyone interested in the field.
