As part of the celebrations for the Day of the Faculty of Dentistry of the University of Porto (FMDUP) and the celebration of FMDUP's 50th anniversary, held on 15 May 2026, several lecturers from Fernando Pessoa University were honoured for 25 years of graduation in Dentistry.

The lecturers of the Integrated Master in Dental Medicine of the FP were honoured: 

Professor Doctor Cláudia Barbosa, Professor Doctor Liliana Teixeira, Master Joana Domingues, Master Susana Coelho, and Professor Doctor Tiago Reis Faria, in a ceremony marked by academic recognition, an excellent professional career, and the contribution made to Dental Medicine over the past decades.

The Coordinator of the Integrated Master in Dental Medicine of FP (MIMD), Professor Doctor Patrícia Manarte Monteiro, represented FP's MIMD at this moment of special institutional significance, and celebrated with the teaching staff of her team this symbolic and academic tribute.

This distinction represents not only the recognition of the individual journeys of the honoured lecturers, but also the valuing of the scientific, pedagogical and human quality of the teaching staff of the Integrated Master's Degree in Dental Medicine at FP, reinforcing the institution's commitment to excellence in teaching and in Biomedical & Oral Health training. 

The FP congratulates the distinguished lecturers on this well-deserved honour, which greatly honours Dental Medicine and the academic community of Fernando Pessoa University.
