The Speech Therapy Department at ESS-FP is once again joining the Portuguese Association of Speech Therapists (APTF) campaign to mark National Speech Therapist Day, which this year is dedicated to the theme “Intervention in palliative care”.

The initiative aims to highlight the essential and cross-cutting mission of the Speech and Language Therapist: to promote functional communication, ensure feeding safety, and guarantee dignity at all stages of life, including in the most demanding palliative care settings.
