The Integrated Master's Degree in Dentistry at UFP, regulated by Directive 2013/55/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 November 2013, is structured in 10 semesters/300 ECTS credits with full-time, in-person attendance for the attainment of a Master's Degree in Dentistry. Teaching/learning takes place in two integrated cycles (basic and clinical) and is aimed at training future dentists.
The course equips students to develop diverse scientific, technical, and relational skills in academic settings and future professional activities, fostering autonomy, competence, and independence in the ethical and human aspects of treating pathologies of the teeth, mouth, and related oral structures.
The training of Masters in Dentistry is carried out by a highly qualified and distinguished faculty, with national and international experience and recognition, which has placed UFP in prominent positions in the context of the evaluation of Portuguese universities. In addition to training professionals who easily enter the national, European and international job market, the Dentistry course taught at UFP has enabled students to participate in prominent positions also within Portuguese and foreign universities and other areas of sectoral expertise.

ERASMUS+ EXCHANGE
Students at the Fernando Pessoa University (UFP) who meet the eligibility criteria have the opportunity to undertake periods of study and/or internships through international mobility programs.
International student study periods are carried out at higher education institutions outside of Portugal with which UFP maintains student exchange agreements under the Erasmus+ Program (within the European area), or other existing bilateral exchange agreements.
