At the invitation of the organising entities – AICIB (Agency for Clinical Research and Biomedical Innovation) and DGS/PNDO (Directorate-General of Health/National Programme for Oncological Diseases) –, researcher and professor Ana Sousa, from the Fernando Pessoa School of Health, presented the project of the NCH-PT AICIB prevention group at the 3rd National Cancer Hub PT Meeting: Pilot Project for Opportunistic Screening of Helicobacter pylori.

This project has been distinguished with the AICIB Award 2024.

The event, held on 22 January at the Pavilhão do Conhecimento – Centro Ciência Viva, in Lisbon, presented an overview of 2025 and future prospects for cancer research and innovation in Portugal. It also served as the launch of the Third edition of the NCH-PT Competition.
