The School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences of Fernando Pessoa University was visited by the Mayor of Gondomar, Luís Filipe de Araújo, and the Councilor for Sports, Health, Public Housing and Animal Protection, José Fernando Moreira, in a meeting dedicated to strengthening collaboration between the two institutions.
During the visit, held on October 7, various opportunities for cooperation were explored, with particular emphasis on student involvement in the community, the promotion of health literacy, and the development of initiatives that encourage their active participation in the academic, sports, and social life of the municipality. This meeting provided an opportunity to strengthen ties between the University and the Municipality, creating conditions for the development of joint projects that promote the integration of students and contribute to the well-being of the academic community and the population of Gondomar. The goal is that, together, we can build a more participatory, healthy, and inclusive community.
The Fernando Pessoa University thanks President and Councilor of the Gondomar Municipal Council, Luís Filipe de Araújo and José Fernando Moreira, for their visit to the School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.
