On April 8th, Professor Jorge Pedro Sousa was welcomed to the auditorium of the Higher School of Education of the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu for a conference dedicated to the history of journalism in Portugal.

The session, which brought together around 50 participants, namely professors and undergraduate and graduate students from Communication Sciences courses, was entitled "Questions to discuss the history of journalism in Portugal". Professor Jorge Pedro Sousa proposed a dynamic and participatory approach, challenging the audience with questions about key figures in national journalism and about journalistic media at various historical moments.

Throughout the presentation, a chronological review of key moments in Portuguese journalism was conducted, promoting reflection and debate among those present. The initiative stood out for its audience engagement and the educational nature of the presentation, contributing to deepening the historical and critical knowledge of future communication professionals.
