The SchoolAIR project – Citizen Science for School Health, from the Fernando Pessoa University / Fernando Pessoa Foundation for Education and Culture, was the winner of the first edition of Impulso SciComPt – Support for Science Communication Projects, promoted by the SciComPt Network.

SchoolAIR aims to involve school communities in citizen science practices related to air quality and health, promoting the active participation of students and the development of scientific skills.

The distinction reinforces the commitment of the Fernando Pessoa University to scientific literacy, research, and the rapprochement between science and society through initiatives with an impact on communities.

The project will be developed until the end of 2027.
