The Student Welcome Week took place between September 14 and 17, bringing together the Fernando Pessoa academic community in a series of initiatives dedicated to welcoming and integrating new students.
Over the four days, the Fernando Pessoa Académica Association (AAFP), the Praxe Commission, the Student Nuclei and the Tunas organized different activities, providing new students with the opportunity to get to know the academic structures, clarify doubts and connect with the life and traditions of the institution.
The week began with the presence of the Student Nuclei and the Academic Bodies at the Pedagogical Building, followed by various integration initiatives, including quizzes, debates, group activities, and moments of social interaction.
One of the highlights of the program was the Welcome Session held on September 16, which institutionally marked the arrival of the new students. The afternoon continued with a sunset party outdoors, in a more informal setting of meeting the academic community.
The program ended on September 17 with the Sarau de Receção ao Caloiro, in the Greek Amphitheater, organized by the Praxe Commission in partnership with the AAFP and with the participation of the house’s Tunas.
The Reception Week thus marked the start of the 2026/2027 school year, promoting the integration of new students and contact with the different structures that make up the Fernando Pessoa community.
