Fernando Pessoa is getting ready to welcome its students for the start of a new academic year. Between 14 and 17 September 2026, the Student Welcome Week will take place, featuring a series of activities designed to promote integration, socialising and contact with the academic community.
On Monday 14 September, from 09:00, student associations and academic bodies will be at the entrance of the Pedagogy Building (Headquarters) to welcome students, showcase their work and support their integration into academic life.
From Monday to Thursday, the Ragging Committee will also run a programme of activities running from morning until evening, featuring various integration and social events. Planned initiatives include group activities, garden picnics, Cascus Paper, a pub crawl (Rally Tascas), “Lost in Invicta”, karaoke, dinners and other academic social events.
On Wednesday, 16 September, the Welcome Session will take place at 16:00, followed at 17:00 by a Sunset outside the Rectorate, providing a social gathering for the students.
The schedule finishes on Thursday, 17th September, with the Freshers' Welcome Soirée, starting at 18:00, organised by the Hazing Commission in partnership with the Fernando Pessoa Academic Association (AAFP).
