The work CComposing Worlds: Humanities, Health and Wellbeing in the XXI Century Towards a More Sustainable World, published by the prestigious Springer Publishing House, proposes an interdisciplinary reflection on the contribution of the human, social, and health sciences to facing the great challenges of the Anthropocene.
From the impact of climate change and biodiversity loss to public health risks, the book analyses the interconnected crises of our time and presents new perspectives for promoting sustainability, resilience and equity. The work also highlights the cultural, ethical and philosophical epistemological dimensions of these themes, underlining the importance of interdisciplinary dialogue in building a more just and sustainable future.
Among the coordinators and authors of the publication are lecturers from the Fernando Pessoa University, Professor Dr. Marina Lencastre and Professor Dr. Rui Estrada, along with other internationally renowned researchers.
The book presentation session will take place in the Noble Hall of Fernando Pessoa University on the 28th of October, at 5:00 PM, and will feature presentations by Professor Salvato Trigo and Dr. Cláudia Milheiro.
