ESS-FP celebrates World Physiotherapy Day

World Physiotherapy Day has been celebrated annually since 1996 on 8 September, which corresponds to the founding date of the current World Physiotherapy in 1951. The date marks the unity and solidarity of the global physiotherapy community and is an excellent opportunity for physiotherapists to reinforce the significant role the profession plays in health, maintaining and/or improving mobility and functional independence, and to promote the profession and its users with governments and policymakers.

This year, World Physiotherapy Day is dedicated to Healthy Ageing, and physiotherapy plays a fundamental role throughout the life cycle, supporting people through this evolution.

To celebrate this date, the Paediatric Physiotherapy Clinic invites the Pessoa Community to attend a session on preventing work-related problems, and on how Physiotherapy can help in everyday life.
The sessions will take place on September 8th at 12pm, 12:30pm, 1pm or 1:30pm, they will be free of charge but require advance registration via the contacts:
